VITON
BCM uses the best
raw materials for production of its products. One of these materials is
viton. It was invented in 1957 for the purposes of aircraft industry,
and since then its use has spread to a number of other industries like
automotive, chemical, petroleum and others.
Viton fulfills
quality standard ISO 9000 and it is well known for its resistance
against high temperatures. Its working temperature range is considered
to be from -30 to +232ºC, but it is able to sustain temperatures up to
316 ºC for short periods of time. Also, viton has shown excellent
resistance to oil, aggressive fuels, acids and other chemicals.
BCM produces O-rings, gaskets, hoses and other sealing materials of
viton. Although, this raw material is very expensive, its use decreases
total costs since products made of viton have extended service life.
Also, we have to point out that viton has a broad compatibility with
wide range of different chemicals and fuels, and thus it can be used in
high number of applications.
